This farmhouse-style beer has an a dominant spicy yeast profile, as expected from a saison. The bottle cites grains of paradise, coriander, ginger, and sweet orange peel, but the blending of flavors is mellow and smooth, and it is a challenge to pick out any one in particular. The aroma is nice and soft, and generally mimics the flavors of the beer itself. The mouthfeel is appropriately dry and crisp, with excellent carbonation.
The bottle says not to disturb the yeast, but who reads the bottle? I intentionally stirred up (what little) yeast remained, and poured it in. Without the yeast, the beer did pour clear.
